Our experienced team is headed up Meliza Karmiris, who embodies the ethos of THE RESERVATION OFFICE with a strong passion for the industry, its products and the wonderful people we get to engage with on a daily basis. Meliza’s expertise is gained through working her way up the ranks where she started as a consultant in a small Tour operator business and moved onto undoubtedly some of the biggest and well known DMC’s (Destination Marketing Company) in Southern Africa, where she has been involved in not only the daily operations – but also the set up of systems and streamlining reservation processes.

As a tourism graduate, Olivia started her career in the tourism industry more than 2 decades ago quickly moving from booking consultant to supervisor in a short few years. Throw a stint as small business owner, working in a travel agency and dabbling in marketing /branding her experience culminated in a versatile, efficient and consummate industry professional with a definite heart for the vibe / energy synonymous with the tourism industry. Whether front office or management her palpable passion for working with people and satisfaction derived from the daily interactions with colleagues, peers, clients , guests and owners is what makes her very valuable addition to THE RESERVATION OFFICE team.

Your dedicated consultant will be trained on your establishments services, facilities, rate structures and promotions before they start to process enquiries. We encourage our consultants to visit each of the properties (where possible) before our contract starts and on regular intervals during our contract. These site inspections ensure that your reservation consultant is always up to date on new offerings, upgrades and changes to your facilities and services.
